Welcome Attorney Cheri Hatanaka

We are happy to announce that Cheri Hatanaka has joined our firm as a Contract Attorney as of January 2018. She has been licensed in California since 2009, but previously practiced in Arizona starting in 2005. As of 2014 she has acted as an Advisory Board Member for the Family Resource Network of Alameda County. Further, she has negotiated disability services with governmental agencies, including school districts, Medi-Cal, regional centers, California Children’s Services, and Alameda Social Services (IHSS).  Between 2005-2008, she worked as a Prosecutor for the Cochise County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting cases related to domestic violence and sexual abuse. She attended The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and received a BA in Economics from UC Santa Cruz. She is proficient in American Sign Language. Welcome Attorney Meera Parikh to Our Firm

Meera Parikh has started with All for the Family Legal Clinic as a contract attorney as of January 2018. Meera attended Santa Clara University School of Law and was admitted to practice in California in 2001. Her practice has focused mostly on business and commercial litigation, while also working in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and receiverships. She has also represented Silicon Valley technology companies in patent prosecution, licensing, trademark and other intellectual property matters. Prior to law school, Meera graduated with honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Molecular Biology. We are thrilled to welcome someone with Meera's complex discovery and civil litigation background to our team.
